about me
I'm Calah, I'm studying computer science at a university and working as a janitor. My interests include learning to code, web design, fashion design, sewing, crafting, anime and manga, and cats. My family didn't have a home computer until 2007, I love the old school computer aesthetic that I came to know while playing games on the library computers when I was a kid :) I'm a bit nostalgic for everything 90s-00s/Y2K, since that was the time of my childhood and my introduction to computers. It seemed like a more hopeful time.
I hope to use this site to practice my web design skills over time, so the layout may be subject to change. I will be definitely adding more to this site as I think of more things to add. I'm someone who gets overwhelmed by thinking of everything that needs done all at once. Then I get burned out and don't do anything. So this time I would like to take things just one step at a time and let inspiration come to me through daily life.
I'm planning to include pages talking about my studies, a journal about my thoughts and a bit about my life, maybe a blog going into detail about my art/crafts and sewing projects, including custom pieces and maybe even some cosplay (I REALLY love anime and obsess over how to recreate the clothes from JJBA...). I find it really hard to find people irl who share the same interests as me and can appreciate things like textile art, so I am hoping that by making this website I will be able to find some more friends with the same interests as me, who I can talk to all I want about the little detais :)
